"Whoa, good job"
He stared at the code, was it too much to hope that that was the complete code they needed?
"Nona, do you know anything about that code that could help us?"

"Well, it looks like a pretty standard color code. Just follow the steps I said before, and you'll know as well as I do."

"I've been thinking about it..."
he seemed unsure
"I'm not sure what I'd call it but is that code a sort of greenish color?"

Mei folded her arms in thought.
"Prob'ly... the green digits make the biggest number, but blue and red are pretty low."

"Yup, it's green alright. I'd guess it's the same shade as the nightlight."

"So maybe that part of the code, the OAD7OA is the G in the R+B+G thing we saw on the TV?"
He floated back and forth as if he was trying to pace thoughtfully
"That or just D7. As the middle two digits were green in the other TV channel"

...?
Mei raised her eyebrow at Fox.
"...Dat's the obvious part. 0A is red, D7 is green, and 0A is blue. Don't ya remember? RGB?"

"Oh right"
He seemed flustered
"Well we have to add together Red, blue and green in some fashion to get the code"

"...Yeah. That's what we've been trying to do."

"You're not the sharpest knife in the drawer, huh...?"
Nona chuckled.

Mei ignored Fox, and looked at Nona.
"So anyway, I can figure out that '0A' means 10. And since we got two '0A's, dat makes 20. But the 'D7' part's blowing my mind. 'D' is 13 in base 10, right? And '10' is 16 in base 10? So... does that mean I multiply 13 x 16 to get what 'D0' is, then add 7 to get 'D7'? Or am I totally off?"

"I think you're getting the hang of this, May. Keep going!"

"Huh? I am? Okay, well I think 13 x 16 is... uhh... 208. So if you add 7 to dat, you get 215. And that plus 20 is 235, so... is that it? Am I right?"
0A + D7 + 0A:
= 2(0A) + D7
= 20 + (13 x 16) + 7
= 20 + 215
= 235

"Well done Mei. "
He looked thoughtful
"So about that three digit number 235? How about we enter that into the TV?"

"YES! I am a freakin' genius!"
Mei put her arms up in the air, and danced proudly.

She looked at Fox.
"Huh? Oh yeah, da TV."
Bottling the rest of her excitement, she kicked over to the TV and entered "235" in the number pad.

The screen went white for a moment, then showed a new channel. 235 - To the Exit!- It had no sound. - A color wheel was displayed on the screen, along with three rows of colors on the side.

Akane stared at the screen, in wonder.
"A color wheel...? What do you think it means?"

"I dunno. I'm guessin' another code we have to crack."
Mei looked intently at the new puzzle.
"...Hopefully, da last one."

"I think it might be the last one."
He stared intently at the wheel, glancing occasionally at the three rows

Nona scrunched her eyebrows, looking hard at it.
"What are we supposed to get out of it, exactly? This one doesn't seem to be giving us any numbers to work with..."

"Not a number huh.... do you think it has anything to do with the fact that some of the colours in those columns are primary colours, some are secondary, and some are tertiary?"

"Maybe."
He looked at the wheel again
"What do you think Mei?"

"Ummmm... maybe it's like... uh..."
Mei thought harder and harder about this. She gave it her all.
"Flavors of... ice... cream?"
