Fox swallowed hastily he had been about to agree with Nona but thought better of it.
Attacking a wasp's nest with a mallet would be a safer bet.
He carefully took the night light from Mei's hands and entered the bathroom.

The bathroom was just as he had left it, with the toilet paper unrolled.

"Right then"
Fox moved towards the cabinet and opened it with one hand, holding the night light with the other. He inserted the nightlight into the outlet socket, floated over to the light switch, and flicked it to the off position.

The dim light flickered off, making the room pitch black once again. The night light emitted an alien-green glow, right against the opposite end of the cabinet. In the glow was a shadow, forming three symbols.  |

Fox stared at the message for a second before calling out
"Hey! Guys it worked!"
He opened the door and poked his head out
"Look at this"
Fox moved out of the room so the three girls could see the message for themselves.

Mei reached in and grabbed the nightlight from its socket, then pulled it loose. She drifted a few feet away to the electrical outlet on the lounge wall nearby. It was the one directly across the room from the closet. She glanced at Fox, then glanced over at the closet door, as if urging him to open it.
