Door 1 shut behind the group, with a heavy slam. The slam echoed through the square hallway where they now found themselves. There was only one way forward: Through the door at the other end of the hall. It was a comparatively normal door, as far as "normal" was inside a space ship. No number burned into it, no panel, no card reader. In the center however, was a word engraved on its metal surface: "Dining and lounge". The wheel-shaped handle on the front invited you to turn it with your two hands, and walk inside.

Mei drifted up to the door and read off it.
"Dining and lounge, huh...?"

Fox kicked off toward the door, gripping the wheel-shaped handle
"Any objections before I open this thing?"

With enough force, the heavy wheel turned, freeing the door from its closed state. When the door finally came all the way open, the 5 players quickly entered to the next room.
The atmosphere changed from that of a dreary hallway to a nice dining room, albeit with its sci-fi appearance. In front of them was a metal table, with 4 uniquely colored chairs around it. Seemingly attached to the table was a chess board, topped with white pieces.
There was a square doorway on the other side of the table, leading to another room.

Saru floated inward, and caught a handhold with his tail.
"Ook. I see, I see. This is human eating quarters!"

He shook his head irritably.

Mei kicked off the wall and drifted through the next doorway.

The next room was a lounge-like area, complete with a couch and TV. There were three square doors in different ends of the room. The first two were somewhat smaller than the one they had passed through previously. However, there was something different about the third one.
Next to it on the wall was a small device that each of the 5 players had seen before. It was a Life Card reader.

He floated towards the two other doors.
"Should we split up? Or stay together?"
