Current LP: - Blake: 7 - Numb: 7 - Wataru: 7 - Hidemi: 7
Door 2 shut behind the group, with a heavy slam. The slam echoed through the square hallway where they now found themselves. The hall wound to the left, leading to another door a good 10 meters away. It was only one way forward.
It was a comparatively normal door, as far as "normal" was inside a space ship. No number burned into it, no panel, no card reader. In the center however, was a word engraved on its metal surface: "Galley". The wheel-shaped handle on the front invited you to turn it with your two hands, and walk inside.

Wataru drifted up to the door and read off of it.
"So this takes us to the Galley, huh? Funny, I've been itching for a bite to eat."

"......interesting."
You noticed the boy standing there. It startled you, the way he was dressed. Pale skin, red eyes, fake stitches, and black hair. He looked....deadly.
Had he not said anything this entire time up to now? Freaky. You must've mistaken him for the other guy....somehow.....
"Food. I like mine cold, unmoving and.....juicy...." he says with a creepy smirk.

Blake eyed the boy and his eyes widened.
"Alright...well we're not getting anywhere by just standing around."
He moved past them and turned the wheel on the door.

With enough force, the heavy wheel turned, freeing the door from its closed state. When the door finally came all the way open, the 4 players drifted into the next room.
The atmosphere changed from that of a dreary hallway to a nice kitchen room, albiet with its spacey sci-fi appearance. In front of them were several counters, each made unique with the various cupboards and appliances around them.
There was a small doorway in the floor in the right end of the room, accompanied by a bulletin board on the wall above it. On the furthest back wall of the room, there was a larger square door with a familiar device by it. It was one that each of the 4 players had seen before: a Life Card reader.

Hidemi stared at it.
"...Another Life Card reader."
She recalled what Zero had said earlier.
"If what Zero said is true, then there must be a Life Card hidden somewhere in this room."

Blake sighed and crossed his arms in annoyance.
"Seems like it. Let's not waste time then. We have about an hour before our Life Points go down, so we need to do this quickly."

"Who would have guessed?" Numb says, putting his hands in the air, sarcastically.

Near the door was what appeared to be a serving table of some sort. A rather conspicuous one in fact, with six spaces on it lettered A-F. Each space seemed large enough to fit a food tray on it. Attached on the end of the table was a small metal box of some sort, which seemed no larger than a deck of playing cards. It had a slit on the side, with about the width of a card too. A tiny light on the top of it glowed red, as though it was waiting for some condition to be met before it would flash green and eject out whatever was inside the slit.

Wataru drifted toward the table at the end of the room.
"Heeey, check this out. This looks pretty important. Big enough to hold a Life Card, wouldn't ya say?"

Blake too stared at the silver compartment, taking notice of the slit in particular.
"It'll come out of that slit. We just need to provide the compartment with the proper requirements. Looks like those spaces are big enough to fit trays. They'll respond to weight, most likely."

Hidemi eyed the table as she floated toward the door with the card reader.
"...That's extremely unlikely. In case you've forgotten, there is no weight in zero gravity."
She held onto the wheel handle of the door and gave it a good tug just to be sure.

As expected, the door would not budge.

"We should probably examine the room before we make any assumptions. Perhaps there is something of interest on that bulletin board, per chance? Honestly, you people...."
Numb shook his head.

"OK, I'll look at the bulletin board now."
Numb drifted over to it.
"Yell if you find anything of interest, guys."

Blake wasn't used to being flustered, and quickly found the need to put himself back in control.
"Alright, you do that. I'll go ahead and check out this left counter. We need to split up if we're going to cover any ground."

Numb found some pieces of paper stuck to the bulletin board with magnets. - Bulletin board -Menu:- The first was a menu listing a variety of meals. Orders:- The second was a list of orders from a space crew. Map:- The third was a map that seemed to graph a section of some kind of ship. One room on the map was labeled "Galley", and another was labeled "Dining and lounge". - Nearby was a room labeled "Command Room", and a hallway with 9 doors across it, labeled "Crew Quarters". [Due to my laziness, the map has yet to be drawn. Sorry. >_>]Small yellow paper:- The final item was a small blank piece of yellow paper. - There didn't seem to be anything written on it.

Numb eyed the paper.
"Huh It doesn't show any numbers. Perhaps the number of sides each shape has equals the number?"

Wataru scratched his head.
"Hard to say. Wouldn't that mean there's two Meal 4s?"

"Hm. I suppose that contradicts it...."
Numb put his hand against his head.
"....we'll come back to it after we look some more. Will you go through the drawers while I go through the cupboards? Perhaps there's something useful in them."
Numb mumbled as he went through Cupboard 1 and 2 carefully.

While Numb was checking the cupboards on the left side, Blake had wandered over to the central counter, and had attempted to open both of the drawers there.

What Blake found inside the drawers was...
Drawer 1: - Nothing. Just empty space.
Drawer 2: - A pair of oven mittens. They seemed to be in wearable condition. - Below it was a pair of scissors. They were a tad worn out, but seemed useable.

"Oven mittens... perhaps Zero intends for us to touch something hot in here."

Blake turned his head and looked around the room.
"Hmph. The only sources of heat I can see in this room would be that oven on the left side, and this stove."
Blake decided to look at the stove in closer detail.

Stove: - It seemed to be a fairly normal stove, not too different from what you'd find in an Earth kitchen. - There was a spatula hooked into the counter next to it. Perhaps for a cook to hold food onto the hot surface. - However, the stove didn't seem functional. Turning the on-switch did nothing.

As Blake was fiddling with the on-switch, he realized that the stove was a lost cause, at least for now. They would have to come back to it, if necessary. Perhaps for the spatula.
"Hey!"
He turned towards Numb and Wataru.
"One of you, check to see if the oven works. We found oven mitts, so we'll probably need to use heat in this puzzle."
He ducked down to check the cabinet underneath the stove, hoping to find some indication of progress.

"On it."
Wataru drifted off to the oven, to try turning it on.
