After solving the last puzzle, a life card pops out of the tablet. Wataru scans the card, and gains his LP:

They're about to open the door. But Wataru says he feels like he remembers something. He and Numb decide to head back to the previous room real quick, to take another look at that "KK" logo...

he stops short unable to form the words "you could have died too" but it's clear from his expression those were his chosen words.
" Hidemi... your mother, I'm sure she'd be... glad that you're safe"
He stares off into the distance for a few moments before giving her his full attention.
"You can't blame yourself Mei, save that for the SOB who did this"

He didn't know what to say. He didn't fully understand their issues, how could he? Still he needed to comfort her somehow.
"She could have been trying to protect you, if there was a chance that Zero didn't know you were related I mean."
Fox inwardly groaned at his inability to help her, he sucked at family stuff. His own father just shoved him from boarding school to class world trip to that damned writing camp. He barely knew how to talk about his own issues, let something much more harrowing.

He couldn't answer that. After a moments hesitation he reached out a hand to Mei, taking hold of her shoulder gently.
"I'm sorry for your loss"
It seemed so hollow, but he was at a loss for further words of condolence.
"We don't have to go back to the others yet. Take all the time you need"
He hoped she didn't catch his momentary glance at his braclet as he said that. They were after all on a time limit.

Wataru and Numb are standing outside the exit of Door 7. They are pointing inside. The players all ask what this commotion is about. Wataru says he believes he may have found evidence suggesting who Zero is.
