Refrain from interrupting the flow.
When a person has chosen to examine or interact with an object, no one else may post, until I have posted the outcome of the action. The only exception to this is if you wish to intervene with the person's attempt. Likewise, if two characters are having a conversation during an escape sequence, do not interrupt their chain of posts, unless you wish to join or intervene with the conversation.
Do not hog all of the room to yourself.
Keep in mind that the other characters are also making their own attempts to find a way out of the room. The only exception to this is if hogging the room fits your character's current mood, objective, or personality. Your reason cannot be "the other RPers are posting too slowly!"
Communicate with each other.
The Nonary Game cannot be won in complete silence. That is, unless you slaughter the other players.
Use full sentences and clear detail.
Your writing needn't be long or fancy, but it should be fully understandable, and not painful to read.
"Godmoding" will not be tolerated.
Remember to phrase any action you perform on another character as an "attempt", unless said character is in a position in which he/she cannot avoid your action, or cannot see it coming. (ie: You have snuck up behind the character in a previous post, and that character has not yet noticed you.)
Keep the continuity organized.
When moving to another room, do not post in an obsolete thread. If there is no thread for the present, wait for me to post a new one. Failure to do so will result in the deletion of your post.
