Anyone who went back into the Door 4/7 room would meet Hidemi. She's floating in front of that picture, examining it. If you talk to her, she'll explain about the picture, and tell you some facts about space.
Important information:
- Each of the galaxies in this picture contains anywhere from 10,000,000 to 1,000,000,000,000 stars.
- The average star is roughly 1,000,000 times the size of our planet, Earth.
- This photo took over 400 orbits and 800 exposures to take.
- And the kicker? This photo only covers one thirteen-millionth of the entire night sky. Meaning we would only see everything within a 360-degree view of Earth at once, if we had thirteen million of these amazing cameras.
- If you think that's crazy enough, here's one more fact: Light takes about 90-billion light years to fully dissipate in a vacuum. This means that the furthest thing that can possibly be seen from Earth, no matter WHAT type of camera you use, is 90-billion light years away.
- And the entire universe is well over 1,000,000,000,000 billion light-years in diameter. In other words, the 90-lightyear visible radius around Earth is only this fraction of the entire universe:
90 / 1,000,000,000,000
- And remember... the picture you see in that link is only one thirteen-millionth of everything that can be seen within this tiny radius of earth. In other words, this picture only shows this fraction of the entire universe:
0.000006923 / 1,000,000,000,000
- Last but not least, the universe is always expanding, every second of every day... at an exponential rate. Doesn't that make you feel tiny and insignificant? Hidemi finds a certain beauty in this.
Remember these facts.

Other stuff you can do during this searching period:
- Go to the Lounge room to meet Nona, and Akane. You'll overhear them talking in secret. Akane will mention that she's been "trying to jump" ever since this Nonary game started. However, no matter how hard she's tried, she can't manage to jump back any earlier than the time she first awoke in this ship. She can't make any jump back to her own setting on Earth. When they notice that someone's listening in on their conversation, they'll try to cover it up with a silly excuse.
- Go to the Command Room to meet Wataru and Saru. Wataru has found cigarettes, and is trying to light them. But Saru keeps stealing the cigarette each time he tries to turn on the lighter. Just meant to be a funny scene. Wataru had gone there in the first place to re-examine the crew quarters, and possibly find hints about Zero.
- In the final set of time, right before the Life Card is found, Akane will confront Blake in whatever room he's in. She'll ask him to stab her with his knife. Even if he says no, she'll keep trying to convince him. However, she won't tell him why. I'd PM Fox to enter just in time to witness Blake raising the knife, and save Akane. This will make Blake look like a bad guy.
(Anything not mentioned here is just filler.)

Make Blake seem like a bad guy? But I thought he was doing that so well on his own. XD

When the Life Card is finally found, they unlock the three numbered doors. Just then, their watches all beep. It looks like one hour has passed. Each person's hours goes down by one. Here's the totals:
Fox: 7 Mei: 16 Nona: 7 Akane: 7 Saru: 7 Blake: 15* Numb: 6 Hidemi: 15 Wataru: 6
I forgot to mention above that Hidemi got the Life Card in Door 2. She used the large kitchen knife to surprise everyone. She had no intention of actually stabbing, but knew that intimidation was all she needed.
*(Also, whoever got the Life Card for the midsection would have 9 more points too. Let's just say Blake got it, since that's required for the True ending.)

Sorry everyone but I need to leave now. I have a job interview tomorrow and need my beauty sleep. Looking forward to see how this all plays out. Foxy out.

Now then, here's which doors each person opts to go through:
- Blake gets Door 3, as per the agreement he made with Hidemi. - Nona takes Door 3, since she's running uncomfortably low on LP. - Wataru also takes Door 3, for the same reason as Nona. - Saru takes Door 3 as well.
- Akane takes Door 4, because she expects that less people will choose that door than Door 3. That increases her chance of getting a Life Card.
- Hidemi takes Door 7, because the others don't have enough LP to enter it. This guarantees her chance of getting the Life Card inside (unless Mei takes it too.)
What doors do each of you take?

Mei doesn't want to go anywhere near Hidemi, because she has a beef with her. So she chooses Door 4, for the same reason as Akane.

Interesting choice, Fox. Then that leaves Numb to take Door 3. Shall we take a look at which ending this leads to?
>>Fast-forward>>
- There are two escape rooms behind each door this time, instead of just one. (Just like with Door 4/5 in 999.) This means there are two Life cards to be found. - In Door 3, Numb gets the first Life Card while Wataru gets the second one. - In Door 4, Akane gets the first Life Card. Mei steals the second one from Fox again.
- Not long after you all escape past your doors, Hidemi's body is found dead inside of Door 7. - Wataru reveals that he's really a detective, and questions everyone on their alibis. Mei soon becomes the prime suspect for the crime, after a certain piece of evidence is found.
- When they finally find the next midpoint Life Card to unlock Doors 5, 6, and 8... three people don't have enough LP to continue. Those people are Fox, Nona, and Saru. They only have 30 minutes left until their LP reaches 0.
- As difficult as it is, there's no choice but to leave them behind. The remaining people enter the next three numbered doors.
- After they get past Door 5, 6, and 8, they arrive on the other side. There is only one final door to unlock: Door 9! They all begin a search for the final Life Card.
- During the search, one of the RPers can have a conversation with Wataru. He'll mention that something seems off about this game. All the players seem like they come from a completely different world than he. He asks the RPer what year they think it is. "2028." His reaction is that of great surprise... - As it turns out, Wataru comes from the 2070s. He tells the story of Radical-6, and how all the annihilation reactors went off. He was born in the early 30s, so this destroyed planet is the only Earth he's ever known. He's grown up in constant poverty and disaster. Many of his friends and family members died while he was still a kid. He has a wife now, but they're still both struggling to survive. - They had a son a few years ago, but more misfortune struck and they were left with no choice but to abandon him. The baby was very small for his age at birth, and had a little patch of yellow hair. Wataru only hopes that someone else more fortunate found the baby, and took him in. - As for how he was kidnapped... he and his wife were in desperate need of money. Being a detective, he took on a case to investigate a shady organization, which was believed to be making illegal use of cloning technology. He had stumbled upon a great lead... but next thing he knew, he had ended up aboard this ship.
- A password is discovered soon after this conversation. The players gather and discuss what to do with it. It seems that this password must be needed to acquire the final Life Card somewhere.
- However, something's not right... They notice that Akane is nowhere to be seen. She never arrived to their gathering.
- The players all begin a search for her. It's not long before one player discovers a new passage which wasn't there before... Wondering what this new passage could be, they enter it, and find two things...
- The first is Wataru. A motionless body floats about in the room, covered in blood. There is a deep knife-wound in his back, and his heart has no pulse. He's been stabbed to death. - The second is a safe... the player remembers the password they had found earlier. They approach the safe, and type it in. With a "beep" of confirmation, the safe opens up. Inside, he finds...
- Nothing. There isn't a thing inside the safe. Whatever was once in this safe must have been taken out before he arrived. Just then, he feels a sharp pain in his back. He's been stabbed. The empty safe is the last thing he sees, as he fades into nothingness.
-- WATARU END --

This ending can be avoided simply by not having Fox go through Door 4. Shall we go back and re-pick those doors? A shame Fox isn't here. What new theories do you have on the killer and Zero's identity?

I don't want to say Akane's the killer, buuuut... Akane's the killer.
And still no idea about Zero.

Yeah, Akane is certainly a shift character. Still not going to say she's Zero, but it's probable she's the murderer.

I see.
Ooh, I forgot one small thing about the ending. Wataru's dead body is also found. I'll edit that into the post.
Anyway, shall we go back, and put Fox into Door 3 instead?

So then...
Door 3: - Blake - Fox - Wataru - Nona - Saru
Door 4: - Mei - Akane - Numb
Door 7: - Hidemi
Which door would you like to see the puzzle for first? Should we try Door 4, since Fox isn't here?

Post by Zero on Jul 19, 2013 17:59:12 GMT -5
Very well then. They enter Door 4... LP: - Mei: 12 - Akane: 3 - Numb: 2 As they move down the hallway, they run into a door with a plate. It reads: Control Cabin. They enter this room, to find a large place full of panels, screens, and buttons. It's freezing so badly in here that the three players instantly begin to shiver. There are two doors in this room, which lead to a thermal control center, and the captain's quarters. There is a card-slit right next to the steering wheel. It seems that they must input the correct coordinates to make the card pop out. The first hint they find is this. It's printed on the wall, in the corner of the room: The second hint they find is this. It's printed on the wall, in the opposite corner of the room: (Note: I didn't get around to making actual images of them on the wall, since you hadn't made it this far yet.)
